Vinified in purity, using one of the oldest autochthonous grape varieties, from which it derives its name, Nebbiolo d’Alba, with its ultra-centennial tradition, is undoubtedly the most important wine of this area. The grapes are obtained from vineyards grown in the best exposed areas, located on the most inaccessible peaks of these tormented hills. The resulting wine has a deep red color with light orange hues and a delicate aroma. The flavor is dry, full-bodied and pleasantly tannic.

Those of the Cantina del Nebbiolo, in Vezza d’Alba, are distant roots. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the wine-growing hills of Piedmont were buffeted by winds of innovation and development, which had brought enthusiasm and confidence in the future. In particular, in the hills between Langa and Roero, where the vocation for vines and wine had long been established.
