The name “Dolcetto,” comes from a dialect expression meaning sweet, a characteristic that does not indicate the organoleptic qualities of the wine, but of the grape. Deep red in color with violet hues, this wine reveals notes of raspberry, and violet on the nose. With a rich, full and persistent flavor, it has a finish enhanced by tannins of good freshness.

Those of the Cantina del Nebbiolo, in Vezza d’Alba, are distant roots. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the wine-growing hills of Piedmont were buffeted by winds of innovation and development, which had brought enthusiasm and confidence in the future. In particular, in the hills between Langa and Roero, where the vocation for vines and wine had long been established.
