The bluegray shows lingering aromas of blackberry and cherry on the nose and delicate accents of nutmeg and star anise, elegant tannins well integrated with notes of dried thyme, which have a long finish. Reborn again with a refreshing new label, this vintage shows tremendous potential!

Planted on terraces of blue slate and quartz soils known as llicorella, among pine and olive trees, the vines grow at very low yields near the property to ensure that the grapes arrive in optimal condition. The grapes were harvested by hand and fermented separately in small barrels for 10 days at temperatures below 28ºC, then matured separately in French oak barrels for 6 months and finally blended.

The Gil family’s latest project in Priorat grows vines between 20-50 years old. The wine is produced at the Mas Perxet country house amid the rugged landscape and typical Llicorella slate soils of the Priorat near the Siurana River in the municipality of El Molar.
