The bluegray shows persistent aromas of blackberry and cherry to the nose and delicate accents of nutmeg and star anise, elegant and well integrated tannins with notes of dry thyme, which have a long finish. Reborn again with a refreshing new label, this vintage shows enormous potential!

Planted on blue slate terraces and quartz soils known as llicorella, amidst pine and olive trees, the vines grow at very low yields near the property to ensure the grapes arrive in peak condition. The grapes were hand-picked and fermented separately in small barrels for 10 days at temperatures below 28ºC, then matured separately in French oak barrels for 6 months and finally assembled.

The Gil family’s latest project in the Priorat grows vines aged 20-50 years. The wine is produced in the Mas Perxet country house amidst the rugged landscape and typical Llicorella del Priorat slate soils near the Siurana River in the municipality of El Molar.
