A family wine tradition

Located in Valgatara, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, is the family-run business Luigi Righetti. Since 1909, when Angelo Righetti earned a reputation as an outstanding winemaker, the family has focused on producing distinguished quality wines. Gianmaria and Giuseppe are the fourth generation of the Righetti family to carry on the family wine tradition. Gianmaria and Giuseppe’s father, Luigi, who is still active in the day-to-day business of the company, was the first in the family to consider production for consumers outside the local market. Gian Maria went a step further by creating wines with a more international touch.
