A family winemaking tradition

Located in Valgatara, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, is the family-run Luigi Righetti winery. Since 1909, when Angelo Righetti earned a reputation as an outstanding winemaker, the family has focused on producing quality wines of distinction. Gianmaria and Giuseppe are the fourth generation of the Righetti family to carry on the family winemaking tradition. Gianmaria and Giuseppe’s father, Luigi, who is still active in the company’s daily operations, was the first in the family to consider production for consumers outside the local market. Gian Maria has taken it a step further by creating wines with a more international touch.
