Matt cherry red. Rich fruit aromas of cherries, black plum jam and blueberries. Spicy (green pepper) and smoky notes. Intense, warm, with firm tannins that are well structured from barrel aging and form a backbone of subtle fruit acidity.

16 months of aging in French barriques. Before being released, it refines in the bottle for at least another 20 months.

The winery is located in the heart of La Rioja Alavesa, in the municipality of Labastida.
