Star of the Rioja of Torres

Matt cherry red. Rich fruit aromas of cherries, black plum jam and blueberries. Spicy (green pepper) and smoky notes. Intense, warm, with firm tannins that are well structured from barrel aging and form a backbone of subtle fruit acidity.

Aged for 12 months in American and French barriques. Before being released, it refines in the bottle for at least 12 months.

The winery is located in the heart of La Rioja Alavesa, in the municipality of Labastida. In accordance with the Torres philosophy, the new cellar has been designed to work in complete harmony with the environment: a water treatment system and a rainwater collection tank have been installed which is used for cleaning work. . At the beginning of 2011, a solar panel ceiling was installed on the cellar roof.
