- Description
Delicious Ticino Chardonnay
Intense yellow color. Citrus, pineapple, tropical fruits and a slightly woody note combined with a pleasant roasted aroma make this wine what it is. Very good and balanced structure.
Manual harvest with high levels, immediate separation of must from must, then temperature-controlled fermentation, partial aging in new barrels for 6 months.
Terreni alla Maggia was founded in 1930 and covers the municipalities of Ascona, Locarno and Gordola, which, at nearly 200 meters above sea level, mark the lowest point in Switzerland . Ecological cultivation is not only a tradition for the farm, but also represents the pursuit of intact nature. For example, it is the only farm that grows 100% Swiss rice! 10.5 hectares of the winery are dedicated to wine and effortlessly fit into one of Switzerland’s most beautiful natural landscapes.
