Marion’s signature Teroldego is a delicious red wine from Veneto made from the grape variety of the same name and lightly raisined grapes. Aging takes place in small Slavonian oak barrels for about 30 months. It presents itself in the glass as a deep ruby red with purple hues. The nose is rich in fruit component with blackberry, plum and blueberry inlaid with herbaceous and sweet spice notes. In the mouth it is juicy, with a silky tanin and lots of envelopment. Long gustatory finish.
A wine that everyone will enjoy during Sunday lunch, try it with aged cheeses or grilled red meats and the pairing will be more than successful.
The Marion Estate is located in the center of the pristine Marcellise Valley, east of Verona. The winery’s business philosophy involves the balance between nature and people. The vineyards-mostly Guyot-trained-host classic Valpolicella grape varieties, including Rondinella, Corvina and Croatina. In recent years, however, Cabernet Sauvignon and Teroldego have also been planted.
