Fransola Sauvignon Blanc lights up in the glass with a very fine straw yellow with greenish reflections.

The nose has an intense aroma of tropical fruits, elder flowers, lemons. Typical of a Sauvignon Blanc from the warmer areas. Pleasant and creamy on the palate and quite full (due to barrel aging), balanced by a fresh acidity. Here are some notes of cool climate, pleasant, bitter and herbaceous sensations. Multi-layered with an extremely long reverb. A fine and noble meal companion with a good balance of freshness and fullness.

The unique locality Fransola with its historic property is located in one of the highest areas of the Penedès. Cold nights and mild days allow excellent climatic conditions for viticulture, in particular for Sauvignon Blanc. A small amount of Parellada gives the cuvée its fine character. The wine was further refined through 6 months of aging in French and American barriques, 50% of which new.

Familia Torres has a historical link with Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat and Costers del Segre, but now its presence extends to vineyards and wineries in the main Spanish wine regions – Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rueda and Rías Baixas – and in Chile and California. Familia Torre is a member of Primum Familiae Vini, an association representing 12 of the oldest and most prestigious wine families in the world, and is the founder of International Wineries for Climate Action, which promotes the decarbonisation of the wine sector.
