Ceretto Barbaresco BIO DOCG
- Description
Typical brick red. Intense and extremely complex aroma. Reminiscent of dried flowers, orange peel, rum and leather. On the palate, the combination of soft fullness and juicy acidity is very beautiful (and rare), despite the 14% alcohol, the wine is very fine and not heavy. The soft and fine-grained tannin gives structure and holds the wine together. Beautiful and long lasting finish. A wine for festive moments with a lot of storage potential!
After the malolactic fermentation, the wine is stored in French oak barriques for 12 months (50% new and 50% used). Subsequently it matures for another 12 months in 25 hl wooden barrels.

We have been wine producers since 1930. Over the past twenty years we have embarked on a journey to make our agriculture more sustainable for the environment, which led us to obtain organic certification in 2015.
Together with Enrico Crippa, chef, we are the founding members of the Piazza Duomo restaurant, the only three Michelin stars in Piedmont.
We are patrons of the arts, nougat producers, storytellers, wine sellers.
We are animated by an eclectic curiosity that knows no boundaries, but there is always a method in our madness: everything is in the name of the Langhe.
