Our 2019 Feudo Ducale Aglianico IGP comes from the southern Italian region of Benevento in Campania, where expert winemakers take the time and care to produce the highest quality grapes. A bold, dark, full-bodied red wine with medium tannins, soft acidity and a surprisingly dry mouthfeel. Aromas of strawberry, cherry, blackberry and plum swirl around the glass with a finish of vanilla and mocha chocolate. Such a bold, dry red must be paired with an equally generous companion. We recommend beef, lamb or a pasta with red sauce such as a spicy sausage Bolognese.
