The result of rigorous selection in the vineyard, Bellavista’s Satèn “Gran Cuvée” is produced in very limited quantities. In fact, this is the first Italian experience in the creation of a great Franciacorta designed thanks to the ancient technology of “small barrels” with the aim of enhancing and interpreting, through a style that can be defined as “feminine,” the chardonnay coming from Bellavista’s best vineyards. What emerges is a velvety and enthralling sparkling wine, a true paradigm among Franciacorta’s Satèn wines.

100% Chardonnay – Straw yellow, with very fine and persistent perlage. The nose expresses delicate notes of fresh fruit, plum, peach, pineapple. These are joined by hints of honey and hazelnut before a particularly graceful, gentle and balanced taste. Fresh and inviting, soft in expressing its characteristics, it closes with a whispery, vibrant finish.

The history of this winery has its roots in 1977 when Vittorio Moretti decided to invest in the countryside surrounding Erbusco, with the intention of producing sparkling wines capable of competing in quality with the famous French champagnes. This is a distinct vision that has become a reality out of nowhere, with the emergence of a production fabric that is decidedly unique in its dynamism and qualitative growth.

Bellavista undoubtedly gathers the best results from the more than one hundred plots scattered in patches a bit throughout the appellation’s territory, sources of the geological and climatic diversity at the root of this winery’s success.
