- Description
Traditional and modern are not mutually exclusive, as this full-bodied and lively rosé champagne proves itself and can establish itself everywhere with its elegance and power.
Immediate, fresh and fruity aroma with hints of berries and a hint of crisp apples. Lively acidity and delicate fruit in the body to the lingering finish.
Depending on the vintage, the blend is composed of 35% Pinot Noir, 45% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Meunier.
Dom Thierry Ruinart, a contemporary of Louis XIV, was a hard-working Benedictine, brilliant theologian and historian. At 23 he was called to an abbey near Paris. There at court he met the new wine with pearls, which was much appreciated by young nobles. His grandson founded Ruinart in 1729.
