The right companion to a hearty meat dish

Reserva Real was produced after His Majesty King Don Juan Carlos visited the winery in 1995 and has been recognized as one of the most exclusive and limited wines in Spain.

It is made from the best and oldest Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes from the small Agulladolç winery, which is also home to a beautiful 11th-century Romanesque hermitage. The very fine soils of Llicorella (slate) each produce a small crop of an exceptional wine.

It is offered for sale only after a total of 42 months of storage – including 18 months in new French oak barrels (Nevers wood)

Familia Torres founded its winery in Vilafranca del Penedès in 1870, 150 years ago, but its roots in Penedès’ winemaking traditions go back to the 16th century. Familia Torres has a historical connection with Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat and Costers del Segre, but now its presence extends to vineyards and wineries in Spain’s main wine regions-Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rueda and Rías Baixas-and in Chile and California. Familia Torre is a member of Primum Familiae Vini, an association representing 12 of the world’s oldest and most prestigious wine families, and is a founder of International Wineries for Climate Action, which promotes decarbonization of the wine industry.
