- Description
Only the best grapes are used for Molin.
Straw yellow with greenish highlights. Delicately fruity fragrance. Dry and spicy flavor. Long-lasting ending. Good texture with hints of kiwi, lavender and fresh almonds. Lugana Molin owes its name to Cascina Molino, the winery’s former winery. Developed with the support of top winemaker Michel Rolland, this wine is the“flagship wine” of Cà Maiol, which has received the coveted 3 bicchieri from Gambero Rosso for several years in a row.
Preserving the area’s winemaking tradition and becoming the bearers of productive innovation has been Cà Maiol’s goal since its founding in 1967. This goal was renewed in 1996 when the company passed into the hands of founder Walter Contato’s sons.
The new generation inherits the passion for the land, the love for Lugana and the will to constantly evolve and improve its production of excellence. Just as today, the estate’s 110 hectares of land are the fertile custodians of cutting-edge wine production and a wine with a strong local identity but capable, thanks to its unique texture and contemporary design, of winning over international palates.
