Louis Roederer’s Champagne Brut Rosé Vintage has a salmon-red color with bright red highlights. It can be served with aperitifs or drunk with scallops, salmon, tuna, or mild cheeses.

composed of 62% Pinot Noir and 38% Chardonnay

With very fine perlage and mineral freshness. Reminiscent of sour currants, strawberries, ripe blood oranges, roasted cocoa beans, yeasty dough and flower petals.

Louis Roederer is one of the last great independent and family-owned champagne houses, currently run by Frédérich Rouzaud in the seventh generation. Roederer’s story begins in 1833 with Louis Roederer. Louis took a visionary approach when he acquired some of the great cru vineyards of Champagne in the mid-19th century. This was an unusual method for the time, as other wineries bought grapes from the grape growers instead. But Louis focused on his vineyards, developing the quality of the soil and continuously improving cultivation methods. This paid off early on.

Champagne Rosé Vintage reflects the terroir of the La Rivière wine region, where the house has planted 35 small plots of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The rosé comes from the long infusion of Pinot Noir and co-fermentation after the addition of Chardonnay juice. 11% of the wines come from wooden barrels. Disgorgement occurs after four years of aging on the lees. The champagne then spends another six months in the bottle.
