The Chardonnay grapes for this vintage wine mature in two exquisite Grand Crus on the limestone soils of the Côte des Blancs.
The bouquet is open, the pearls rise finely in shining gold. Aroma of ripe apples. This is also on the palate with delicate and intense acidity. Accompanied by delicate and fresh hazelnuts, almonds and white flowers such as acacia and broom. An elegant wine with incredible length, featuring Chardonnay. Re-fermentation in the bottle.
The champagne house, founded in 1776, is one of the few that has been able to maintain its independence.
The estate covers 240 hectares in the best growing areas of Champagne, Grands and Premiers Crus in the Reims Mountains, on the Côte de Blancs and in the Marne Valley.
The principles of biodynamic cultivation are increasingly being used.
