All botanicals are macerated and distilled separately, then mixed. The merging process is called Konwa, the creation and assembly of harmony.
The labels come from one of the oldest wooden block printing factories in Japan and show floral motifs from the Edo period. The product is manufactured in the Kyoto Distillery Company.
A wide range of nose aromas of Asian spices, exotic flowers and fresh citrus. Very voluminous on the palate, broad in flow, with a spicy note, but still pleasantly carried by fresh citrus, which never let the “Six” appear clumsy.
The following botanicals were used for the rice-based “Six”: juniper berries, sansho pepper, hinoki, yuzu, red shiso leaves, green tea, lime, bamboo leaves, and kinome.

The distillery is there first Japanese gin distillery in Minami-Ku, south of Kyoto. Their gin is also unique: Kinobi means beauty of the seasons, it is inspired by the Japanese tradition. The botanicals are yellow yuzu, hinoki wood, bamboo, goyokuro tea, and green sansho berries.
