- Description
The vineyards from which the grapes of the Cuvée Prima Stilla come are located in the Valdobbiadene and Conegliano area at 200 – 300 meters above sea level and rest on predominantly clayey soils.
The dominant grape variety for the wine is Prosecco – Glera – but Ernesto always blends Verdisio, Bianchetta, Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco. The harvest takes place between the end of August and the beginning of September.
The wine ferments according to the so-called Charmat method. This means that the refermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks which receive the natural carbon dioxide formed in the wine during fermentation.
