- Description
The wine comes from Brunate, one of the most representative single vineyards in the commune of La Morra and always one of the protagonists of the entire appellation. With its 28 hectares, the vineyard with limestone and sandy soils is located between the towns of Barolo and La Morra at an altitude of 230 to 400 meters. The Ceretto family owns just over five and a half acres of the site. An enticing bouquet of violets, blackberries and spices on the nose. The fruity fullness of the wine harmonizes with the tannin and pampers with an endless aftertaste. A wine as powerful and impressive as a Beethoven symphony, bringing together all the senses in a concert. Filigree yet complex, elegant yet powerful, harmonious yet full of character. A masterpiece!
ORGANIC WINE
THE STORY OF CERETTO IS THE STORY OF A FAMILY AND THE LOVE FOR A TERRITORY, THE LANGHE.
It is love that guides us in every choice: in the vineyards we grow, in the cellars where the wines ripen, in the countryside where we live, on the bricchi where on sunny winter days we go walking with our children.
We have been winemakers since 1930. Over the past two decades we have been on a journey to make our agriculture more environmentally sustainable, which led us to obtain organic certification in 2015.
Together with Enrico Crippa, chef, we are the founding partners of the Piazza Duomo restaurant, the only three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Piedmont.
We are patrons of the arts, nougat makers, storytellers, wine sellers.
We are driven by an eclectic curiosity that knows no boundaries, but there is always a method in our madness: everything is in the name of the Langhe.
