- Description
Powerful and soft, with a long finish and rich acidity. It reflects the microclimate and the terroir reminiscent of the great classic wines that are produced from this vineyard. First earthy and moist forest soil, blue flowers and bitter orange. A noble wine, full-bodied and deep. Fascinating when young for its aroma, but thanks to the fine tannic profile, the wine has a very long aging potential.
THE HISTORY OF CERETTO IS THE HISTORY OF A FAMILY AND THE LOVE FOR A TERRITORY, THE LANGHE.
It is love that guides us in every choice: in the vineyards we cultivate, in the cellars where the wines mature, in the countryside where we live, on the jugs where on sunny winter days we go for a walk with our children.
We have been wine producers since 1930. Over the past twenty years we have embarked on a journey to make our agriculture more sustainable for the environment, which led us to obtain organic certification in 2015.
Together with Enrico Crippa, chef, we are the founding members of the Piazza Duomo restaurant, the only three Michelin stars in Piedmont.
We are patrons of the arts, nougat producers, storytellers, wine sellers.
We are animated by an eclectic curiosity that knows no boundaries, but there is always a method in our madness: everything is in the name of the Langhe.
