- Description
The wine comes from Brunate, one of the single most representative vineyards of the municipality of La Morra and has always been one of the protagonists of the entire appellation. With its 28 hectares, the vineyard with limestone and sandy soils is located between the municipalities of Barolo and La Morra at an altitude between 230 and 400 meters. The Ceretto family owns just over five and a half hectares of the site. On the nose a seductive bouquet of violets, blackberries and spices. The fruity fullness of the wine harmonizes with the tannin and pampers with an infinite aftertaste. A powerful and impressive wine like a Beethoven symphony, which brings together all the senses in a concert. Filigree yet complex, elegant yet powerful, harmonious yet full of character. A masterpiece!
ORGANIC WINE
THE HISTORY OF CERETTO IS THE HISTORY OF A FAMILY AND THE LOVE FOR A TERRITORY, THE LANGHE.
It is love that guides us in every choice: in the vineyards we cultivate, in the cellars where the wines mature, in the countryside where we live, on the jugs where on sunny winter days we go for a walk with our children.
We have been wine producers since 1930. Over the past twenty years we have embarked on a journey to make our agriculture more sustainable for the environment, which led us to obtain organic certification in 2015.
Together with Enrico Crippa, chef, we are the founding members of the Piazza Duomo restaurant, the only three Michelin stars in Piedmont.
We are patrons of the arts, nougat producers, storytellers, wine sellers.
We are animated by an eclectic curiosity that knows no boundaries, but there is always a method in our madness: everything is in the name of the Langhe.
