Italicus liqueur made from fresh bergamot and cedar is flavored with other botanicals such as chamomile, lavender, gentian, rose, and lemon balm.

Italicus is a fruity liqueur made with purely Italian ingredients. It is composed of fresh bergamot and flavored with various botanical herbs, including chamomile, lavender, gentian, yellow roses, and lemon balm.

Based on Rosolio, the original Italian aperitif already drunk by the King of Savoy, Giuseppe Gallo has brought Italicus liqueur to the market, realizing a long cultivated dream. The liqueur is based on an ancient recipe from the 18th century. Several Italian botanicals (including chamomile, lavender, gentian, yellow roses, and lemon balm) refine the basic structure of Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian cedar. The stunning bottle was designed by the award-winning Stranger & Stranger agency, and its color pays homage to the clear waters of Capri’s Grotta Azzurra, where Gallo spent his childhood under bergamot trees.

Nose with roses and lavender. On the palate, aromas of ripe citrus and slightly bitter floral spices are noticeable.
