- Description
The vineyards where the grapes for Cuvée Prima Stilla come from are located in the Valdobbiadene and Conegliano area at 200 to 300 meters above sea level and rest on predominantly clay soils.
The dominant grape variety for the wine is Prosecco – Glera – but Ernesto always blends Verdisio, Bianchetta, Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco. Harvesting takes place between late August and early September.
The wine ferments according to the so-called Charmat method. This means that refermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks that receive the natural carbon dioxide formed in the wine during fermentation.
