- Description
Sharis’ varietal pairing reconciles the confidences and expectations of the local consumer with those of the international consumer, representing a sort of trait d’union between Friuli and the rest of the world. From a technical aspect, the combination of these varieties gives the wine balance and complexity. Ribolla Gialla, for example, which itself does not have a strong aromatic character, is important in defining the texture of the wine, bringing freshness and liveliness.
Color: canary yellow with golden highlights
Scent: intense and captivating. Elegant notes of white and yellow flowers: jasmine, lily of the valley, golden lily and mimosa and fresh fruity hints of lime, amolo and Golden apple. Lemon custard finish.
Taste: lively, balanced and enveloping. Pleasant presence of ripe white fruit, medlar, white cherry, gooseberry and kiwi. Balsamic hints in closing and good persistence with citrus aftertaste.
82% Chardonnay

In Friuli, and now not only in this chosen land of men and wines, Livio Felluga is identified with the best oenological tradition.
A well-established habit of love that has lasted for five generations, ever since in his native Isola d’Istria the family produced Refosco and Malvasia.Seventy years ago Livio Felluga, who has the great privilege of being considered the “patriarch” of Friulian vitenology, firstborn of the fourth generation moved the business to Friuli. In the 1950s he founded the Brazzano winery and consecrated his love for the hills by purchasing, with happy intuition, the first vineyards in Rosazzo.

His race to success is destined to perpetuate under the banner of a full, absolute and even stubborn devotion to the land.
He knows it clod by clod, he lives and breathes it precisely because over the years, with patience and determination, he has been able to mold it with a soft hand, without abuse or violence, to derive the best. Rosazzo is a testament to this.Today the estate boasts a hillside spread in the Collio and Colli Orientali del Friuli of more than 160 hectares of property, 155 of which are vineyards.
