Firm ruby with floral scents from which violet and mulberry emerge. The palate reveals itself to be composed between the tones floral and fruity from which a fair amount of structure emerges. Great drinkability, long and fruity persistence

Composition: 70% Sangiovese 30% Merlot

Maturation: In small oak barrels for about 6 months.

Aging: In bottle for a minimum of 4 months.

The vines that existed when the land was purchased were raised using an ancient method: “maritled” to a tree, which was generally a field maple or willow, also useful to the vineyard for its shoots used for tying, but could also be a mulberry or an olive tree. The decision to adopt as the symbol of our winery a vineyard “maritata sul testuccio,” like a bride supported by her tree consort, is meant to be a tribute to an ancient culture, of Celtic origin and then developed by the Etruscans and Romans, which is still used in our days, although it has almost disappeared from our countryside.

This union symbolizes the bond that is established between that of the vineyard and its land of choice, thanks to the care of the hand of the human farmer.
