Five generations of farmers who learned to watch the sky and deal with the unpredictability of weather and natural events. In 1790 we find the first written record in church records of the birth of John, progenitor of the Galliano family, an enterprising, tenacious, brilliant man; a proud son of his land. It was 1850 when he decided to purchase the first lands in the municipality of Loazzolo. John had traveled extensively, which enabled him to broaden his horizons and to believe in vine cultivation.
