Giuseppe Cortese’s Barbaresco Rabajà comes from vineyards located in one of the best Cru of the Barbaresco DOCG.
It is made entirely from Nebbiolo grapes, harvested and selected solely by hand. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine then ages for 20-22 months in Slavonian oak barrels and another 10 months in bottles before being marketed.
Giuseppe Cortese’s Barbaresco Rabajà shows a garnet red color. The nose opens with an ethereal bouquet, with elegant hints of strawberry and raspberry, enriched by pleasant notes of leather and underbrush with age. The palate is dry, full and robust, particularly structured and harmonious.
