Cordillera Carignan

Deep, dark ruby red. On the nose, a floral and fruity aroma subtended by smoky and toasty spicy notes from the barrels. The palate is a real pleasure, very broad and develops wonderfully. The notes of its aroma are now complemented by hints of bay leaf and mint.

A very successful Chilean wine!

Each morning the sun rises over the Andes in the Mauletal and begins a ritual that combines land and wine. These rain-covered coastal vineyards are home to some of the oldest Carignano vines in the world, many dating back more than 80 years. Rescued from oblivion, this variety is undoubtedly one of Chile’s great treasures.

After fermentation, Cordillera Carignano is aged in French barriques for 12 months (30% new wood).

With a presence in more than 100 countries, the Miguel Torres Chile family winery has established itself over the past 30 years as a leading producer of high-quality wines through the identity of its products, respect for the environment and social responsibility.

Backed by a history rooted in wine culture in Spain, Miguel Torres Chile arrived in the Curicó Valley in 1979 after seeking a new location. On this journey, in addition to finding excellent climatic conditions, the family has been innovating in wine production, incorporating stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels. Today Miguel Torres Chile also focuses his efforts on organic viticulture and fair trade certification for various wines. These advances have helped the company become more sustainable and implement several sustainable projects.
