“Respect for the land and innovation in the cellar, this is the philosophy that has driven Château Minuty since its founding in 1930 in Gassin, a French commune in Provence.
By replanting and restoring the chateau, built during the time of Napoleon III, Gabriel Farnet lays the foundations for a winery that intends to make the most of the peculiarities of its soils and exceptional terroir, with its limestone soil and temperate, maritime climate.
The winery, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, set in a beautiful landscape with a unique and picturesque atmosphere, stretches for about
70 hectares, between Gassin and Ramatuelle and are planted with grenache, syrah and mourvèdre, a grape variety grown particularly in the Rhone Valley and Provence, used for the production of the pleasant and fresh rosé wines of the Côtes de Provence.
Château Minuty, led by 3 generations of the Farnet-Matton family, has established itself for many years now as one of the best wineries in Provence, thanks to its production of French rosé wines of great value and quality.
Work in the vineyard is of great importance to the company, which opts for exclusively manual harvesting, deliberately low yields and soil enrichment with natural and organic fertilizers.
The vines are raised with the utmost respect for the varietal and the growing cycle, without the use of herbicides or pesticides.
In the winery, so the grapes arrive perfectly intact and at the right degree of ripeness, ready to be poured into stainless steel tanks for fermentation at optimal temperature and humidity for the production of fresh, fruity rosés with a distinctive and refined flavor profile.
