70% Cabernet Franc, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot mature for 18 months in barrels. This is followed by an additional 12 months of aging in bottle.

This Bolgheri Superiore is a typical Bordeaux blend, elegant and robust, opulent and intense. Grapes raised using the ancient “settonce” system with Alberello shape. It has a complex structure and extraordinarily ripe and silky tannins. Notes of black currants and blackberries. Dominant hints of leather and coffee. The palate is eclectic and full of character

Grattamacco, founded in 1977, is located between Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci overlooking the Tuscan coast. The region is known for the temperature difference between night and day, which gives the wines a nice freshness. The vineyards are located in a natural amphitheater and are therefore protected from the wind. All grape varieties are vinified separately and blended into elegant blends.
