TOREN Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva is a dark garnet red wine, vigorous, balanced and finely structured. Its complex bouquet initially surprises with spicy tobacco hints that later give way to fruity nuances of black currant and cranberry. It has a fresh, firm acidity, enhanced by ripe, soft tannins that, after expressing their intensity on the palate, linger long in the aftertaste.

Aging potential: more than 30 years

Alcoholic fermentation occurs during the three-week maceration period. Malolactic fermentation occurs during the year in barrel. After the wine remains in tank for another six months for clarification, TOREN Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is bottled for another two years of maturation.

Before the end of World War II, Herbert Tiefenbrunner (1928-2015) took up the art of master cellarer at the young age of 15. In 1968, his wife Hilde opened the food court. In 2000, it was our turn to commit ourselves to carrying on our family’s winemaking culture and tradition.
