Intense ruby red color. The bouquet is very complex with fresh notes of cherry, plum, black currant and a hint of dark berries, which are accompanied by intense ethereal and spicy notes such as eucalyptus and graphite, with roasted aromas on the finish. On the palate we find the same aromas that convey a feeling of depth and smoothness. Mineral notes give the wine freshness and character as well as a pleasant and elegant finish. A harmonious wine, yet exciting for its freshness and minerality.
Perfect interplay of finesse, structure and long finish.
The wine was transferred to 225-liter French oak barrels (half new), in which malolactic fermentation was completed . Expansion took place in barrels and then in bottles before market launch.

It is the essence of Tenuta Argentiera’s winery, a serene guardian of a harmonious landscape.
In a magnificent handkerchief of Maremma land combining countryside and sea, suspended between woods and Mediterranean scrub, stands Tenuta Argentiera.
We are in the heart of the small but prestigious Bolgheri DOC, a terroir devoted to great red wines, in the very area of the famous Super Tuscans.
The name Argentiera carries an evocative meaning: it comes from the silver mines once found in this area of the Upper Maremma, which is also rich in natural springs and healing waters.
The Estate is the closest to the Tyrrhenian coast and at the same time the one that reaches the highest altitude of the entire Bolgheri territory, reaching 200 meters above sea level: this duplicity makes it different from all the others and manages to create a microclimate with unique characteristics.
