- Description
Light straw yellow with greenish highlights that speak of its youth. Clean and bright. We find muscular aromas on the nose. Mainly aromas of white and exotic fruits, lemon peel and ripe pears. Fresh and inspiring. The taste is very concentrated, tactile and dense with a juicy, mineral note. Very fruity on the palate with light spicy notes.
It is reminiscent of a beautiful Burgundy and shows that very elegant and long-lived wines can also be produced in the Rueda area!
Light straw yellow with greenish highlights that speak of its youth. Clean and bright. On the nose we find intense aromas of smells. Mainly aromas of white and exotic fruits, pineapple and green apple, which blend perfectly with herbaceous and grassy notes. Fresh and inspiring. A good beginning taste, broad and fresh and light on the palate. The acid is well integrated. Long, dry finish.
A young, fresh, fleshy and elegant white wine!
The grapes come from old, low-yielding vines grown in the southernmost part of Segovia in the Rueda area. Under the care and technical guidelines of Australian winemaker Belinda Thomson, 20 to 30 percent of the wine is aged in barrel and rests on its lees for several months before bottling.

We are the moment
More than a century has passed at Viñas Familia Gil since we bottled our first wine. With that patience that the land of our ancestors gives us, we take care of our old vineyards. And we grow by incorporating small wineries from Spain’s major wine regions.
We are also a family, which is why we unite in one brand a selection of wines of different origins, but united by the nerve of quality and tradition. Different temperaments of native grape varieties, linked by the same family trunk that emerged from those first vines. We are what endures.
We preserve in our essence the character of the farmer, who blesses the touch of warm clay when he sinks his hands into the earth. With the modernization of the winery at the beginning of the 21st century, we incorporated technology that allows us to adhere to strict quality control, but the smell of the earth prevents us from moving away from the darkened bed of vines and the light radiating bloom. It is the strength of family legacy.
The memory of inherited knowledge accompanies us in recognizing whether the new shoots will give a good harvest or how to prune the vines so that the flavor is concentrated in the berries. Time has helped us preserve the old vines and combine them with new techniques to improve work performance and achieve nuanced wines.
