Tequila Clase Azul Reposado

An ultra premium reposado tequila that exceeds all expectations with every sip.

A top-quality tequila aged for eight months in a handcrafted, artistic ceramic bottle.

Premium tequilas, which are neither drunk as a shot nor as an ingredient in a cocktail, but rather enjoyed leisurely as an old Scotch.

Arturo Lomeli can tell you a thing or two about that. It began marketing its cheaply produced tequila in 1997 in a stereotypical bottle with a sombrero and mustache. He soon found himself going back to school: the topic was “luxury marketing.” In 2007, the Clase Azul Ultra came on the market for $1,200 and was very well received. Since then the company has specialized in the high-end market segment. Tequila is first prepared in the usual way: the hearts of the Agave Blue Weber cook in brick ovens for 72 hours, the squeezed juice is then fermented and then distilled twice. Ripening takes place in the Jesús Maria locality, where it can reach 5°C at night. Tequila is also made special by Santa Maria Canchesdá’s handcrafted bottles. These carefully painted ceramic bottles, reminiscent of large pepper mills, really catch the eye.
Tequila Clase Azul Reposado was stored in carefully selected oak barrels for eight months and has a taste reminiscent of cooked agave, wood, fruit, vanilla, and caramel.
