The new Flora Adora special bottling comes in with more floral notes just in time for early spring. In it, angelica notes come into play thanks to botanicals added to the classic gin. Interesting rose aromas emerge in the finish.

Clear juniper aromas with earthy herbaceous notes on the nose. On the palate floral bouquet of lavender, roses and geraniums with hints of green tea. Intense rose aromas on the finish.

Hendricks Gin has been produced in Scotland by the family business William Grant & Sons since 1887. In addition to the usual ingredients such as juniper berries, coriander, orris root and lemon peel, rose petals and cucumber are also used. However, the flavorings are carefully distilled using steam and not, as is usually the case, boiled. Only the best neutral grain alcohol is used as the base in pot and carter-head stills, which ensure particularly wide copper contact and a smooth gin taste. Almost all stages of production are still carried out according to the old traditional method, with great attention to detail, in small 450-liter batches and by hand. However, even more is produced at the distillery in its testing laboratory, also known as the cabinet of curiosities. It is here that master distiller Leslie Gracie pauses to develop some new gin creations. Each year one of the creations is produced in a limited bottling, so in this case it was the turn of Flora Adora. It follows previous special bottlings Neptunia, Lunar and Midsummer Solstice and is distinguished by its floral notes. Its base is based on classic gin, to which only rose and cucumber are added as botanicals. Floral notes are clearly evident on the palate. The slightly pinkish gin is bottled in pharmacist-style brown bottles. It follows previous special bottlings Neptunia, Lunar and Midsummer Solstice and is distinguished by its floral notes.
