- Description
Berta Bric del Gaian Grappa is made from 100 percent Moscato grapes and is stored in oak barrels for eight years.
Francesco Berta was practically born with making grappa: born in 1866 among the vineyards of Piedmont, he learned to make wine at an early age. However, his interest turned more and more to grappa until he focused completely on its production. The Berta winery was founded early in central Piedmont, between the Langhe and Monferrato, and is now successfully led by two grandsons Gianfranco and Enrico. The Berta family’s love for the land and local culture flows into the production of Grappa and has become a quality feature of the distillery. “Grappa Berta Bric del Gaian” is made from Moscato grapes and then matured for eight years in oak barrels.
