Fine notes of vanilla and dried orange peel, spices and cigar box. The palate has a smooth and creamy texture, the wood is perfectly integrated.

Made in Panama, Zafra Master Reserve 21 Year Old takes its name from Zafra, a name for the sugarcane harvest, and is made from high-quality sugarcane. Distillation is carried out by the column still method. The rum then has 30 years to develop its flavor in selected bourbon barrels before being bottled.

Zafra is the work of famous master-ronero Francisco “Pancho” Fernandez, who has been making rum since his youth. Born and raised in Cuba, Maestro-Ronero at the Havana Club in the 1960s and 1970s. In the early 1980s he moved to Panama and built his bodega for Zafra.
