The motto of Hercules Velenosis is, “Wine is an art to make the world dream.” This motto is made from the paradise grape of the sunny Marche region, Verdicchio. Verdicchio Classico “Querciantica” is vinified in the vineyards of the original, probably oldest area of the Castelli di Jesi. A white wine rich in substance and fruit, then fresh and fragrant, finally with a nice spicy streak and reinforced by the typical almond aftertaste that only Verdicchio can give.

soft, but lingering, pleasantly fruity, has a bit like ripe green apple, followed by notes of honey and spices, vanilla and a hint of clove

The Velenosi winery was founded in 1984 by two very young entrepreneurs, Angela and Ercole Velenosi. Then with the expertise of Dr. Paolo Garbini, Velenosi Srl was established in 2005.
More than 35 years of experience in the industry and a strong passion have made it possible to create this reality where, through the use of state-of-the-art equipment, exceptional wine is produced.
The winery’s estates extend among the hills that contour the beautiful Tronto River valley, which, thanks to its clayey and fertile soils, has always been suited to the cultivation of vines.
In addition to the four wineries located in Ascoli Piceno, Castorano, Monsampolo del Tronto and Castel di Lama, there is a vineyard in the Ancarano (TE) area and in the San Marcello (AN) area, among the Castelli di Jesi.
The winery since its inception has achieved great success in journalistic reviews published in the most renowned national and international newspapers such as: Wine Spectator, Robert Parker, Gambero Rosso, Luca Maroni, A.I.S. and many others.
That is why it is present throughout the country with the cooperation of 85 agencies and abroad where it is present in 52 countries both in Europe and the rest of the world.
