- Description
Shades of coffee harmonizing toward more mouth-watering notes of chocolate
With a classic monk’s cassock brown color, the Leön has a nice compact and persistent hazelnut-colored foam and, at first impact, a fruity scent of fruit baked in a wood-fired oven pervades the sense of smell of those about to drink it. Next, coffee undertones harmonize with woody ones that turn, as the beer tends to warm, toward fuller notes of chocolate.
On the palate the warmth of its nine degrees immediately stands out with a hint of black cherries in spirit, which immediately gives way to toasted cereals that caress the mouth with hints of chocolate, cocoa beans and coffee. A tendentially sweet beer with an important body, complex but very enjoyable.

BALADIN BEER: INDEPENDENT FARM BREWERY
“Because Beer is Earth!”: this is the motto that has always guided the philosophy and activities of Baladin Craft Brewery.
Birrificio Agricolo Baladin-with its founder and master brewer Teo Musso-has always been committed to promoting a new way of understanding and producing beer: the strictly artisanal kind, which starts from the Earth and ends directly in the glass.
The story of our brewery began in 1986, when the Le Baladin brewery was born in Piozzo, a small town in the Langhe in the province of Cuneo. Ten years later, in 1996, the brewery transformed into a brewpub, devoting itself to the production and sale of the first Baladin-branded draft and bottled beers. Throughout its history, the Brewery has changed locations several times in the wake of growing production needs: the current location is inside the Baladin Open Garden, a place that can visually tell and summarize Baladin’s philosophy and the production experience of our craft beer.
