This Prosecco Millesimato Extra Brut is a wine of important structure, harmonious, in which the mineral notes offered by the high clay and limestone component of the soil on which the vineyards are planted stand out. It is appreciated for its delicate, dynamic and pleasantly dry flavor, given the absence of residual sugar that distinguishes this specific category of sparkling wine. It is a wine that represents the excellence of the Territory and is sure to please the many admirers of dry wine, winning over even the most extra-dry oriented palates.
If you want to taste an excellent Prosecco with a limited sugar intake, we recommend the D.O.C.G. Extra Brut and the Kleofe, both Millesimati of great character made according to our exclusive Gianfranco Follador® winemaking method.
The D.O.C.G. Extra Brut has an energy value of 264 KJ / 65 Kcal, with a residual sugar content of 0 grams/liter and therefore completely absent; the Kleofe has an energy value of 267 KJ equal to only 66 Kcal per cup, with a residual sugar content of only 3 grams/liter.
Beginning in 1769, with Giovanni Follador being honored for the quality of his wine by the Doge of Venice Alvise IVº Mocenigo, the Follador family has humbly followed their passion, carefully and devotedly charting a model for Italian sparkling wine. Gianfranco Follador, a descendant of Giovanni, was able to bring about a change in the family tradition by devoting himself to sparkling wine. In 1970, Gianfranco Follador, together with his wife Italia, founded Follador Spumanti, one of the first sparkling wine companies in Valdobbiadene, continuing this tradition of quality, passion and excellence in wine production. Follador’s Prosecco line is a hallmark of fine sparkling wines. Fine and persistent perlage, rich bouquets with elegant, dry finish are the result of uncommon skill handed down for more than two centuries
