An excellence in the world of Piedmont wines
The history of Ceretto Aziende Vitivinicole has deep roots dating back to the 1930s in Alba, in the heart of the Langhe. Founded by the family patriarch, the company has always had an innovative and ambitious vision.
One of the main values that has guided the Ceretto family has been the decision to select the most valuable and authentic vineyards, rather than simply purchasing grapes for winemaking. This “cru” concept has made it possible to preserve the link between the land and the fruit, resulting in wines of extraordinary quality and character.
Today, the Ceretto family is one of the largest vineyard owners in Piedmont, with more than 160 hectares of land located in the most prestigious areas of the Langhe and Roero. The properties include the prestigious DOCGs of Barolo and Barbaresco, symbols of the region’s wine-making excellence.
The family owns four independent wineries, each dedicated to producing unique and distinctive wines. Bricco Rocche, in Castiglione Falletto, is the home of the famous Barolo cru, while Bricco Asili, in Barbaresco, is the home of the Barbaresco cru. Tenuta Monsordo Bernardina, in Alba, is dedicated to the production of wines from the Langhe and Roero areas, while Vignaioli di Santo Stefano, in Santo Stefano Belbo, specializes in the production of Moscato wines.
The Ceretto family has always understood the importance of image and aesthetics in the wine world. Since the early years, he has collaborated with renowned designers to create unique and refined labels and bottles. But their passion for art did not stop there. Over the years, they have forged alliances with internationally renowned artists and architects, creating a unique marriage of wine and art.
The story of the Ceretto family is one of passion, dedication and the pursuit of perfection. Each bottle they bring to market is the result of an ongoing commitment to produce wines of excellence, an authentic expression of the Langhe territory. Thanks to their innovative vision and continuous search for new challenges, the Ceretto family has become a benchmark in the world of Piedmont wines.
