Intense garnet red color with violet hues characterizes its color, the aroma a delicate fragrance with characteristic notes of violet and cherry, subtly underlining the full, round fruit flavor. Fine-grained tannins and pleasant acidity support the long finish of this typical South Tyrolean wine.

Aged for eight months in large and small wooden barrels.

Before the end of World War II, Herbert Tiefenbrunner (1928-2015) took up the art of master cellarer at the young age of 15. In 1968, his wife Hilde opened the food court. In 2000, it was our turn to commit ourselves to carrying on our family’s winemaking culture and tradition.
