The name (toknar = stone in the Aymara language) evokes the small rocky vineyard that produces this wine, as well as the powerful tannic structure of the Petit Verdot. A monumental wine, designed to go through a couple of generations in the bottle.
Opaque ruby in color, the nose recognizes preserved cherries, Indian spices, sandalwood, red berries and violets. The mouth is full of energy, dominated by cherry and black fruit. The ending is endless.
For over twenty years the Swiss lawyer Mauro von Siebenthal, a wine lover, has cultivated a dream. In 1998, with the financial help of four friends, Viña von Siebenthal finally became a reality. The harmonious philosophy of Viña von Siebenthal has produced elegant wines that eloquently express the extraordinary characteristics of the Valle de Aconcagu territory
The philosophy on which Viña von Siebenthal is based is similar to that of the Bordeaux chateaux; the vineyard, the cellar and the house blend harmoniously to facilitate the creation of an exceptional wine.
