From the vineyards of the hilly area in the Sottoceneri and from the clayey and limestone soil of the Mendrisiotto, this excellent Merlot del Ticino DOC is born thanks to the warm climate of this Ticino area known for the production of excellent wines and the 100% Merlot vines with medium-aged vines of 20 years. The aging of this wine takes place in barriques (80% of second passage and 20% of third) and lasts from 10 to 12 months.

Thanks to its fresh and delicate character it is a wine that has great versatility in combinations. From pasta to risotto, and then accompany the various types of meat. Alex’s Poetry is a traditional Merlot that finds its best place in convivial and informal contexts.
