- Description
The Tanqueray 10 on the nose reflects the abundance of fresh citrus i, but the juniper still has a strong note. The lime it has the most persistent aroma. Also on the palate the lime, together with angelica and juniper which make the taste spicy and earthy, makes way for the other flavors. Chamomile emerges harmonizing with the spicy notes. A sweet and citrus note enriches the taste. the finish is long and spicy.
This gin is handcrafted in small batches
. The distillation is unique as it quadruple continues in order to obtain the purest and finest heart of the gin. The originality is also given by the use of fresh citrus fruits and not dried peels, which give the gin more character and aromas.
The Tanqueray 10 was launched in the year 2000. The name derives from the number of the small still used for the production, 10, amicably nicknamed “Tiny Ten”. After being nominated three times in a row “Best White Spirit” at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, he entered the Hall of Fame: he is the only white spirit present
