Wine made from Merlot grapes, from a vineyard with vines with an average age of about 20 years grown on south-facing soils characterized as sandy. Production is about 800 g of grapes per vine. The production area is in Castione, in the Motto della Torre area, a promontory that offers the vineyards a splendid microclimate. Wine born to be drunk cool, in summer, on a terrace, dreaming of Provence with its Mediterranean scrub and unmistakable scents

Happily embedded in this palette of colors, the Sasso Chierico Estate covers six hectares where the harvests are repeatedly excellent year after year. Here the Antognini family, looks at their vines, as old as forty years, with the proud eyes of those who have always believed in quality, convinced that terroir should be caressed like a child. An authentic encounter with the civilization of vine and wine.

Those grapes pampered throughout the season and then vinified with passion and expertise by winemaker Luca Biffi are now encased in bottles with an elegant label.
