The mystery of Silent Pool
The pond that gives the Silent Pool its name is said to be haunted by a ghost of a young woman. Apparently, a young girl was bathing when King John Landless passed by who, attracted to the maiden, tried to get her out of the lake. The girl, frightened, retreated deeper into the lake, eventually drowning. All production, including bottling, is done at the small distillery in Silent Pool.
The water used for production is drawn directly from a pond in front of the distillery, the“Silent Pool.” The gin is made entirely within the four walls of the distillery with the utmost precision and great attention to detail. Silent Pool is a fresh, classic gin with 24 botanicals and plenty of depth.
With 24 botanicals including linden blossom, rose and elderflower, and cubebe pepper, the dry gin displays a broad bouquet of aromas, floral notes of citrus, and a sharp, spicy finish.
Awarded gold by Gin Masters in 2016.
The company was founded by a group of friends with a shared passion for craft distillation and has made a name for itself internationally with its award-winning Silent Pool Gin since its founding in 2015.
