The Velenosi winery was founded in 1984 by two very young entrepreneurs, Angela and Ercole Velenosi. Then with the experience of Doctor Paolo Garbini, in 2005 the Velenosi Srl was established. More than 35 years of experience in the industry and a strong passion have made it possible to create this reality where, through the use of state-of-the-art equipment, exceptional wine is produced.

- Description
Color: intense and bright pink. Bouquet: floral hints of rose and violet with small nuances of red currant and raspberry. On the palate: tasty, round taste, typical of the Montepulciano grape. Remaining with good structure. The finish recalls delicate floral and fruity notes. fruity shades. The berries are pressed without stem structure and with the addition of CO2 in order to maintain the primary aromas. A short cold maceration follows at 14-15 degrees Celsius for about 6 hours. This is how all the aromas from the berries are extracted. The wine is then kept on the fine lees for several months in order to increase its structure.
The winery’s estates extend among the hills that contour the beautiful Tronto River valley, which, thanks to its clayey and fertile soils, has always been suited to the cultivation of vines. In addition to the four wineries located in Ascoli Piceno, Castorano, Monsampolo del Tronto and Castel di Lama, there is a vineyard in the area of Ancarano (TE) and in the area of San Marcello (AN), between the Castles of Jesi. From the beginning the winery has obtained a great success of journalistic criticisms published in the most renowned national and international newspapers such as: Wine Spectator, Robert Parker, Gambero Rosso, Luca Maroni, AIS and many others. That is why it is present throughout the country with the cooperation of 85 agencies and abroad where it is present in 52 countries both in Europe and the rest of the world.
