Of French origin but now cultivated in the Aosta Valley for more than 50 years, Pinot noir is to all intents and purposes a protagonist of the Valdostan wine scene, both in the variant vinified in red and that vinified in white. The color is ruby red. The nose is intense, persistent and floral. The palate is dry with the presence of elegant tannins.
